Our Programs
La Escuelita Preschool
We have a small student population, with two to three teachers in each class to ensure every child has the attention they need. We separate into two age groups, toddlers and pre-k/kindergarten.
Our program start date is just after Labor Day and runs year long for all age groups. Once accepted, students attend all 12 months of the year, 5 days per week. We do not offer partial week attendance. Our traditional school day begin at 8:30AM and ends at 3:30PM. Extended Care is available until 5:30 pm, with limited availability.
Though our After School Alumni program has been part of what we've offered in the past, on account of COVID and to ensure the safety of our community, we are offering traditional and extended care only to our enrolled students at this time. This section of the website will reflect when we begin to offer care to After School Alumni students again.

La Escuelita del Bosque Summer Camp
Kindergarten graduates – 3rd Grade graduates

We love keeping in touch with our families and their friends after they have graduated from our program! We invite both Alumni and Non-Alumni Students who have completed K-3rd grades to attend our week-to-week summer camp, La Escuelita del Bosque: Nature & Spanish Immersion Summer Camp, starting each June and running for 7 weeks.
La Escuelita del Bosque is partnering with Carnegie Mellon University and CS Pathways to offer the chance for our summer camp attendees to advance their Spanish language and STEM skills while strengthening their connection with nature. Our program believes that local parks and our outdoor classrooms provide deep learning experiences for children and summer is a perfect time to explore the outdoors! We are also looking for high school students with a range of Spanish language skills who are interested in a summer job that provides the opportunity to work with children and strengthen their Spanish skills! Join us this summer for our CS Pathways paid internships! Click here to learn more!

La Escuelita del Bosque'25 will run June though August 2025, from 9am-4pm. This multi-week program gives families the flexibility to commit to a few weeks this summer or all summer long! Please check back or more details as we get closer to summertime! Register early as spaces are limited.
